Sweet Spring Iris - After and Before

These two sweet French Provincial dressers were custom ordered for a little girl's room. They were painted Benjamin Moore Spring Iris in satin with glossy white hardware. I was a little concerned when I applied the first coat that they were reading very gray. However, the next day when I checked on them, the color had dried to a lovely soft, cool, lavender color.

Sun Kissed Headboard

After a teeny bit of frustration, I finally finished this headboard and I am so excited about the way it turned out. I love all white bedding and I can imagine it would look amazing in a room with the bright pop of yellow. Of course there are so many prints in contrasting colors that would also look wonderful.....how to decide?


Anyway, it's late, I've been chasing a one year old and I'm pretty tired so I'll keep it short and sweet: The paint is Benjamin Moore's Sun Kissed Yellow with Martha Stewart's Glass of Milk on the trim. Available now in the shop.

It's About Time....

I am excited the finish my first project! Between the baptism, birthday party, my getaway with Elliott, and a paint gun incident,  it was hard to find the time to work in my shop. I finally had some time on Memorial Day and I got busy.


I had originally intended to work on the pink dressing table but it is going to require a little more elbow grease because of the condition of the wood. Instead, I finished this sweet set of twin bed headboards. They are painted Benjamin Moore Santa Barbara Green with Glass of Milk from Martha Stewart on the accent trim.


These have turned out so adorable that I almost want to keep them for Evie's "big girl" room! If you are interested in purchasing them, they are available in my shop.

Thinking Pink!

This weekend I am going to get started on the girl's vanity/desk from the previous post and I'm looking for inspiration! 

Should I go for the bold pink? 

Split the middle with a soft pink? 

Or stick with the tried and true white?
